The day and you
Rainbow Healing
ORANGE
If we use this colour in a positive form, it would be a great colour to begin the day with. It is a colour of encouragement, of new ideas and new ways. It is a colour of persistence, joy and assertiveness. It balances your Energy life force by topping it up when lacking in drive and energy. It is a thought provoking considerate colour, it gives off warmth and a feeling of expansion. It helps with one being tolerant and loving to all things.
So really how could you not want to use this to begin your day.
You can do so maybe this way:
Whilst dressing using some form of orange on your body for the day, light a candle and say a little affirmation /prayer either the one below or use your own words.
As this candle is being ignited,
I acknowledge gods kingdom,
I give thanks to all creation
I am open hearted, centred and focused,
On all the beauty yet to unfold, with the help of this orange glow
With light, love and thanks,
I accept thee graciously
Enjoy some raw orange food today as it will help release the toxins and stress build up from your body, by helping it to let go and leave your system. Lack of orange in your body can show up in a couple of ways, signs may be constipation and sore muscles and joints. So some orange foods are: Oranges, peaches, apricots, pumpkin and peppers. Raw carrots are an especially good one as they contain vitamin c and zinc which is good for detoxifying the body of metals and other pollutants.

Middle of the week wind - down
It is now the middle of the week and time to spend a bit more time on you.
De-stressing, Relaxing, Re-tuning, whatever you want to call it, how are you going to do it.
MEDITATE. One of the most helpful aspects of meditation is the way it shifts you to a state of being, rather than thinking or doing. You accomplish this by finding a quiet place to be alone and then set about by focusing on emptying your mind of all thoughts. That may sound impossible to do, but "emptying your mind" does not mean you won't still have thoughts moving in and out of it. What it means instead is that you won't interact with these thoughts. You step back mentally and observe, rather than engage with any particular thought. You will still be aware of them, but won't be in them, your aim is to get to that place of being fully seperated from them so that they are not dominating your focus any more, you simply sit back and allow your thoughts to flow effortlessly by, while you keep your focus on nothing. You can get to this state if you slowly inhale and exhale and as you do this you will feel stress and inner conflict begin to melt away almost immediately. If you don't then you have latched onto a thought and have begun thinking again (which you will probably do heaps of times in the beginning out of habit) let it go and gently return your focus to nothing. It does take time and practice to master, but when you do you will be amazed by the peacefulness that meditating can inspire.
So if you think that meditation is for you and you are not in a group and are at home doing this alone then of you go and have a nice warm aromatherapy bath, wrap yourslef up in a nice thick luxurious bath robe, if you haven't already got one why not shout yourself I am sure you are entitled to it, if you have to save for it then all the better, will be the appreciation and enjoyment in creating this special you time.
There are many ways of meditating but these are my favourite.
Jo Fishers cd's are designed to get you into a relaxed state, then you are guided away to meet a Spiritual being, then deep into your spiritual centre, your being, your essence, through a series of doors, vortexes and paths. At the end of the meditation which lasts about 20 minutes or so she will guide you back to your safe place, and back into your own world where you will be left feeling wonderfully relaxed and enriched by your experience.
Or if you are one of the lucky ones who can create your own peaceful imaginary place in your mind, this can be anything that instantly brings a feeling of having left behind all those day to day thoughts, so that you have nothing to focus on but what you yourself have just ccreated in your mind, your own little sanctuary, your own little fun healing place to be, spend as much time there as you are comfortable with, getting to explore what you have created, memorise it, what are the colours that you have used, what are the smells, the flowers, birds, people, meanings, get to know all that you have created, then whenever you find yourself in need of some quiet time you can instantly bring this to mind and chill out there for a long as need be.
Jeff Clarcksons cd's are also great he has many titles to pick from and all of them will help you to unwind.
