Photos taken in a pyramid tomb at the ancient Mayan ruins of Palenque, Chiapas, Mexico. These next two images have been taken by a friend who has just visited there.
This may have been the pyramid tomb in which King Pakal/Pacal, known as Pakal the Great, wife was put. There have been remains found but I don’t think it has ever really been confirmed whose. We were told it was the Queens tomb anyway and it is along side the Kings so it makes sense.
